Hey! So it’s been a while since I have shared a meal plan, however considering I haven’t been well recently (I’ve had a flare up with my FND) I thought now might be a good time to share an easy meal plan! We do try and eat healthy, however this week my main priority is to feed myself and my family with quick and easy meals.
Saturday
Shop bought Chinese fakeaway. I used to make them but as I said it’s all about simple easy meals.
Sunday
Toad in the hole – Ste is cooking this and he’s really good! Keep an eye out for a photo over on my foodie account @mrs_sheps_kitchen.
Monday
Pasta bake – this is Ste’s favourite and only requires 3 ingredients; pasta, cheese and pasta bake sauce. If you haven’t tried it you need too! It’s so cheap and easy, plus it tastes scrummy.
Tuesday
Ploughman’s lunch; so so easy and best of all there’s no rules with this! Meats, fruit, cheeses, fresh bread, salad………..
Wednesday
Chilli and rice – I will use a ready made sauce. Now that I no longer do Slimming World I do find it easier with being able to use ready made sauces etc.
Thursday
Chicken Kiev and chips, again this will be shop bought. I can make it from scratch, however I no longer do Slimming World and this week is all about easy meals.
Friday
Ste and Alfie suggested a picky tea, so we will in fact be going to our local Iceland and getting a few things and helping ourselves to a bit of everything.
Saturday
We will in fact be having our monthly Takeaway treat this evening which we all really look forward too. This tradition started over lockdown (I can’t remember which!) as we could no longer go out for meals or do anything. Plus it was something different to look forward too.
Let me know in the comments if you ever have picky tea’s and what you tend to have on them?
Do you have regular takeaway treats as well?
Hope this has given you some ideas.
Much Love
Mrs Shep
